Is ESG dead in finance?

Contrary to popular belief, ESG ratings and Carbon policies are powerful tools for investors, influencing the decisions of a significant majority of sustainable institutional investors. This webinar recording, titled hosted by Carbonhound, explored the topic of how ESG ratings help investors identify which companies perform best on non-financial factors, and the positive correlation of these decisions with carbon policies. This information can be used to layer the financial analysis that investors do, as they need to ensure that the investments they make align with policies and best practices in the industry. The key takeaways from the webinar is that ESG is certainly not dead in finance. Corporations are still eager to get the highest ratings possible to attain investors and a green future is a profitable future.
